    Amazon's EU Customer Service team is seeking a creative, tech-savvy Instructional Designer with experience in building engaging learner-centered and performance-based learning solutions that include application and customer interaction simulations and are deployed across multiple training modalities. The Customer Service Instructional Design team develops and maintains training programs that support Customer Service associates throughout the EU. If you are a native Spanish speaker, passionate about adult learning, fluent in English + Italian and an expert with application simulation tools – then this job is for you!

    As an Instructional Designer on the EU Customer Service team, you will:
    • Skillfully perform needs and task analysis to create targeted and engaging learning solutions that blend instructor-led with virtual classroom, and other modalities as appropriate
    • Flex your skills to create e-based training content along with gamified lessons, blended courses, interactive videos etc. as required, supporting the translation and localization of this content in Italian and/or Spanish
    • Measure the effectiveness of learning interventions using key performance metrics
    • Follow a modular, standardized process to create learner-centered, performance-based training that is flexible, adaptable and scales gracefully across the EU region
    • Simultaneously manage multiple, complex projects with tight deadlines and time-critical deliverables through their entire life cycle
    • Effectively communicate training strategies to senior-level leaders
    • Build and maintain relationships with both regional and global stakeholders, including business and operations teams
    • Collaborate with call center teams and subject matter experts across the network, along with partnering with other Instructional Designers and members of the Training Delivery teams

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in instructional technology, instructional design or a relevant field#
    • Three years relevant experience in instructional design
    • Native Spanish speaker, fluent in English + Italian
    • Demonstrated skills in needs analysis and in the development of performance-based training across multiple learning modalities, with eLearning development being an essential requirement
    • Proven experience in designing and developing application and customer simulations
    • High proficiency with the Articulate Storyline application simulation tools
    • Full Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and graphic design - digital video equipment editing packages (Photoshop, Adobe Suite, Go-Animate, Camtasia)
    • Experience in Social Learning, Gamification and/or use of Multimedia in training
    • Experience with publishing and tracking learning objects in an LMS (Cornerstone On Demand, Thinking Cap as a preference)
    • Proven command and fluency in English

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master’s Degree in Adult Learning, Instructional Design, Learning Technology, or a related field
    • Familiarity with Web-based Learning Platforms and with the use of a Content Management System
    • Self-starter, with proven experience of working on program/projects with a geographically dispersed team
    • Demonstrated skills in analysis and evaluation using standard contact centre metrics
    • Familiar with the Amazon brand and shopping experience
    • Fluency in any other European language (French or German)
