Amazon's Global Collections team is looking for a curriculum designer/training manager to develop the training strategy, planning, design and delivery for all global collections locations. This position will drive a streamlined global high quality training program by working with site leaders and product managers to identify and evolve the collections training strategy for collection facing systems and processes. Use needs assessment process to identify training priorities and requirements. Research, design, brand and deliver employee and leadership training programs per the business needs and in alignment with our development strategy. Liaison with site training coordinators to plan and implement worldwide delivery of programs via internal train-the-trainer program in order to ultimately provide a leader-led curriculum. Audit and evaluate courses for effectiveness; evolve content and structure of training as required. Provide the vision for our Learning Management System in order to fully automate enrollment and reporting. Assist in managing systems upgrades. Own and continually update all training materials, content; provide innovative ways to measure and communicate course effectiveness.

Basic Qualifications · At least 5 years’ experience in a curriculum design or training role. · Bachelor’s degree or significant college course work, preferably in a communication, education or related field. Alternatively, significant demonstrable commensurate experience in · Instructional Design. · Expertise in designing, developing, planning, implementing and assessing training. · Experience developing curriculum to current standards · Experience developing curriculum, performance support aids, online tutorials and/or other training materials.
· Experience with Agile/Scrum · Expert in Excel · Experience working within a fast-paced, multi-tasked and geographically diverse organization · Have flexibility with changing programs and processes · Track record of complex and creative problem-solving, and the desire to create and build new processes · A willingness to dive deep, experiment rapidly and get things done. · Experience working with sales and operations teams · Strong project management experience and attention to detail, excellent coordination and organization skills. · Excellent communication skills and editing for the purpose of knowledge transfer and skill development, including superior skill in explaining technical topics to novices and collaborating with subject matter experts and managers. · A passion for effective visual communication and a healthy sense of humor are essential to the role. · Ability to use multiple learning methods and link appropriate methods with subject matter.
