Amazon's Devices organization is looking for a smart, high-energy Senior Account Manager with a proven track record of selling products in a variety of channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Spain retail landscape including margins structures, distribution channels and will have experience managing and selling to all levels of an organization. He should have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills as well as a strong business judgment.

As the Senior Sales Account Manager Spain, you will be responsible for driving sales of our devices in various channels. You will define and implement our sales strategy, be our “voice of the customer” and influence channel approach. You will manage existing relationships and find new ones in the retail space and many more. You will be our eyes and ears to understand customer satisfaction and their needs. The position is based in Amazon’s Madrid office. Responsibilities: · Work closely with internal and external teams (marketing, operations, finance, legal) to ensure outstanding management of all controllable inputs including product placement and availability across multiple sales channels · Manage relationship with assigned accounts and coordinate the Amazon extended team supporting those accounts; prospect, qualify and develop new business relationship within the Spanish market segment. · Identify, evaluate and recommend relevant sales propositions and promotions to drive sell-out and provide tactical differentiation · Institute research metrics to audit promotions’ success and then optimize efforts · Collaborate with marketing partners and retailers to deliver in-store merchandising and messaging to support sales · Own short and long-term sales forecasts for the managed accounts and constantly exceed expectations. · Implement periodic business reviews such that plans stay on track, or course correction is effectively managed as and when required. Effectively resolving at root cause any day to day operational and financial issues. · Tightly monitor all aspects of Spain Devices’ Partners performance and report to senior leadership on EU and global level
· 7+ years of Experience in sales/account management with consumer electronics or high-tech products · Bachelor degree · Proficiency in English and Spanish. Must be able to communicate complex business concepts in verbal and written form · Superior analytical skills and business judgment. Demonstrated ability in simplifying complex problems and articulating a clear path forward through the use of data · Extreme attention to detail and willingness to roll up your sleeves · Significant experience in delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment · Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects across functional teams, including product management, marketing, creative, legal and merchandising teams · Proven ability to manage large numbers of initiatives and competing priorities
