    The Kernel and Operating System Team is looking for a Software Development Engineer to be responsible for building software that automates and manages the infrastructure to support the product or service, you will root cause customer issues, patch kernels and deploying Linux Kernel and Hypervisor for AWS.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Sound experience reviewing, editing, accepting or rejecting patches flowing from developers
    • Experience building and tuning custom Linux Kernel
    • Experience working in C and/or Python

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with debugging Linux Kernel crashes
    • Experience with virtualization technologies
    • Experience automating operational problems resolution
