The goal of AMZL is to build a world class last mile operation. AMZL aims to exceed the expectations of our customers by ensuring that their orders, no matter how large or small, are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible.

    As AMZL Senior PM EU DSP Process and Performance you and your team will be working closely with DSP Management teams across the EU to understand their business specifics and needs and work together to exceed expectations in developing and delivering last mile solutions. You will play an active role in defining projects and setting project goals, creating plans to achieve those goals, and then driving change together with the in-country teams. You will also monitor performance and own consolidated EU metrics. Key to success is your ability to effectively manage and deliver different programs and initiatives simultaneously, as well as adapt to learning new tools and systems while building effective relationships with across EU countries. Our environment is deadline driven, fast paced, and requires to be detail-oriented and comfortable interacting and working with multiple teams (business and technical).

    The ideal candidate requires strong team leadership experience in the transportation/ 3rd party logistics industry or a similar fast-paced logistics/distribution environment as you will be responsible to:
    - Lead a team of project managers simultaneously working on multiple initiatives and projects across European countries improving the cooperation with our service partners on the last mile.
    - Create standard processes and best practice business standards across European countries and support their implementation.
    - Initiate and implement trans-European projects improving cooperation with our delivery service providers
    - Be the central POC for the implementation of WW DSP facing system initiatives
    - Coordinate central planning initiatives e.g. for peak, special events and annual negotiations
    - Create analysis and reports across different countries to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement
    - Report regularly on key business metrics on a European level

    Basic Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications
    · 7 years plus working experience in the express/parcel delivery industry or the transportation/ 3rd party logistics industry or a similar fast-paced logistics/distribution environment e.g. in the logistics department of a retail organization
    · A masters degree (or equivalent) in relevant mayors e.g. engineering, business administration, logistics, MBA
    · Strong team leadership experience with a minimum of 3 years of people management experience
    · Experience in project management is required
    · Experience leading and interacting with cross-functional teams
    · Experience in account management of third parties
    · Be able to think and act both strategically and tactically.
    · Be able to analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, support scope of requirements and prioritize
    · Possess sound business judgment and a proven ability to influence others
    · Possess strong analytical thinking skills, but also being able to work hands on with their sleeves rolled up, and a preparedness to get involved
    · Excellent skills in Excel
    · Willingness to travel > 50%

    · Experience in contract and commercial negotiations
    · SQL / Data Analysis Skills are beneficial
    · Fluency in one additional European language besides English
    · Experience in working in international environments
    · Experience in managing remote teams
