Scope of responsibility and tasks The successful candidate will support HRS Payroll preparation controls team and will be responsible for perfect pay program and application of control mechanisms on payroll preparation. The candidate will be responsible for managing the relationship between HR Services Centre and Payroll Operations. The company is looking for a strong operational mindset with excellent communication skills and a strong proven background in payroll and controls environment. The role is a fantastic opportunity for a specialist, who wants to raise the bar for the payroll preparation team and set the teams up for success. Reporting into a Senior HR Shared Services manager, role holders will support internal customers with delivering the excellent pay experience for employees. This role demands high level of accuracy, financial and payroll controllership and the ability to communicate effectively in written and verbally. The successful candidate will assist in fostering the growth of our program and development of the process changes and opportunities to improve efficiency and the customer experience. As an HRS Pay specialist, you will work to deliver pay accuracy, data quality to build efficiency and a great employee experience. Most immediately, you will work on the rollout of a Global Perfect Pay program for all countries on company payroll. Your specific responsibilities will include: · Controls – Applying the right controls on payroll preparation process · Remediation plans and actions – Ensure right corrective actions are in place to mitigate the risks, proactive actions to prevent the pay defects. · Operational Excellence – Design for process optimization and standardization while balancing the business need for flexibility and accuracy.
· 5+ years of Payroll, Accounting, Finance, Business controls experience with strong payroll concentration in large-scale, complex, and fast-paced environments. · Successful record of executing operational processes and procedures, with high levels of customer satisfaction · Attention to detail. Able to analyze the root causes and efficiently eliminate the problem. · Consistent delivery on commitments - great organizational skills with exceptional follow through. · Exceptional analytical skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data and communicating data findings. · Excellent written and verbal communications skills – English - ability to interface with management and peers, specific strength in influencing decision makers and managing expectations · Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, accounting or related field. · Advanced MS Office skills (Excel).
