We launched our first advertising program in 2006 and since then have built a portfolio of advertising products across ten countries, enabling advertisers to reach customers on Amazon sites, mobile web and apps, on Kindle, and on thousands of external publishers via our web and mobile ad network. We have developed products that leverage Amazon’s strength as a world class eCommerce platform and have integrated advertising into the shopping experience from first discovery to purchase.

We can reach customers on Amazon properties, both web and mobile, and across our ad platform. We are able to deliver solutions that range from always on product and search advertising to highly customized campaigns. Our products are available to manufacturers, brands, sellers, online retailers and content providers.

A strategically important part of our charter is to build a portfolio of self-service, cost per click advertising programs to enable advertisers to engage with customers in relevant ways. Examples of products already in the market are Sponsored Products and Amazon Marketing Services. We are building a team for Amazon Marketing Services in Europe, who will own go-to-market strategy, adoption, advertiser success for existing and new self-service advertising programs. This team will have functional expertise in marketing, product, account management, market analysis and program management. Working directly with advertisers, we will develop strong feedback mechanisms to inform and influence the product roadmap.
We are customer-obsessed and the ideal candidate will take ownership of one-to-one and one-to-many outreach channels to drive the growth of new advertisers on the platform. The Marketing & Sales Specialist will initiate outreach to advertisers primarily through phone but also through email, webinars and more, as well as reporting on success metrics. This person will work directly with advertisers to drive advertising campaign creation, handle advertiser enquiries and assist with marketing projects.
We are looking for a driven and pro-active self-starter with strong communication skills, high attention to detail, and experience working with customers by phone and email. The ideal candidate will be able to learn quickly and can execute in an environment characterized by speed, fun, and collaboration.
