The Alexa Domain International Quality (ADIQ) team focuses on expanding Alexa’s capabilities on a global scale. The Role:

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative solutions focused on the internationalization of Alexa enabled devices. You will lead and coordinate regional market solutions for design, implementation and testing. This role requires relocation to an ADIQ regional hub. In this role you will:
  • Define, design and deliver device testing framework for global geographies. Drive and implement delivery.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop requirements and overall roadmap.
  • Collaborate with multiple agile engineering and design teams to coordinate, prioritize and deliver to an aggressive roadmap.
  • Clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities and desired outcomes to cross-functional project teams.
  • Support and enhance existing teams and goals with thoughtful and measurable impact.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • 7+ years or program management experience.
  • A first-hand working knowledge of consumer electronics and web technologies.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing technology projects.
  • Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience managing devices/voice enabled/AI QA solutions projects or internationalization projects.
  • Knowledge of hardware development process and life-cycle.
  • Experience in an agile environment (SCRUM, Kanban, etc).
  • Experience managing efforts in distributed systems and/or developing large-scale cloud based platform for various cloud applications to run on.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.
  • Ability to dive deep on technical matters.
