The main role of the interaction designer is to design and build the campaign landing pages in the in-house CMS tool. Though coding HTML/CSS or JS is not necessary for building the page, understandings about web languages are required to communicate with development team when the pages need fix for bugs during QA and the tool itself.
Another important role of the interaction designer is to support presales pitches by visualizing the user experience of the landing page with excellent visuals, HTML or animation. Designer in this position will work with creative director or senior designer to propose the innovative customer experience. The knowledge of state-of-the-art web language and the Internet technology will help the team to ideate and develop the out-of-the-box solutions.
Even though the creation of the banner is not the main role of the interaction designer, all designers are expected to support the team while the busy seasons. Designers create not only static image banners but also interactive banners that have Amazon’s unique e-commerce functions.

Partner with sales teams by bringing big ideas to life through ideation and creation of high fidelity designs for sales presentations
Develop and contribute to detailed cross-platform interaction specifications and design patterns
Present design work to clients, partner agencies, the user experience team and sales executives for review and feedback
Quickly and thoroughly create process flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups to effectively conceptualize new custom solutions
