Job Description

Amazon, one of the world’s leaders in e-commerce, is expanding its Third-Party Marketplace business, looking for a smart and high-reaching Key Account Manager based in Pozuelo de Alarcón (Madrid, Spain). Your role will be to contribute to handle existing Sellers, specifically phone/email-based prospecting and recruiting of new merchants who can bring their wide range of products, pricing and availability to the Amazon Marketplace and FBA. You will also work with large merchants as an account manager, helping them to grow their business on Amazon by ensuring they understand Amazon’s products, services, systems and tools. Lastly you will be responsible for using feedback from the merchants to improve processes for all 3rd party merchants.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify, set and implement best-practices for team to follow in the 4 key aspects of the NAM role (lead generation and screening, seller interaction, onboarding & integration, and account-management).
  • Identify, prospect and recruit high-potential merchants to Amazon.es website, via phone or email.
  • Effectively prioritize and handle a pipeline of merchants to consistently meet/exceed quarterly targets.
  • Be a business partner for new sellers providing them with insights and advice to optimize their success on the Amazon Platform.
  • Enable sellers to learn and master Amazon's tools and systems so they may become self-sufficient.
  • Learn and understand the specifics of your categories to spot popular brands, trends, seasonal items and competitive pricing to best tailor your pitch and advice to sellers.
  • Track and report business development rts, analyze data, interpret reports and information for your portfolio of sellers.
  • Prioritize your time optimally to achieve your targets

Basic Qualifications

  • Fluent in English and Spanish (additional languages a plus)
  • 4 to 6 years prior experience in business development / sales / sales-engineering /consulting, preferably in the technology, Internet, e-commerce sectors
  • Track-record as an individual contributor in foster key client relationships and hitting monthly/quarterly sales quotas
  • University Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing or related careers
  • Analytical skills and capable to work effectively with Excel
  • Skilled in phone-based business development with strong objection-handling and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to persuade, convince and explain complex concepts in a simple manner
  • Self-motivated, results driven, and autonomous taking responsibility for achieving your targets
  • Able to work with cross-functional teams across operations, product development, technical and other departments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data analytics, either in a professional or academic capacity
  • Experience in Internet, e-commerce and retail companies is preferable
  • Knowledge of additional languages
  • Master preferred
