A summer internship in Finance is 10-12 weeks long, consisting of a strategic project or multiple projects that are data intensive, analytical, and typical of the full-time SFA (Senior Finance Analyst) role. SFA Interns will have ownership of a high profile project in a Finance team, where they will partner with key business groups and clients. By participating in the internship, there will be opportunities to analyze new business ideas, make analytical judgments, and provide data intensive analyses to drive meaningful change. Each Intern will have exposure to upper level management (including Vice Presidents, Directors and Financial Controllers) and the opportunity to apply general business and financial analysis skills to support successful execution of corporate strategies.

Possible Projects for this summer could include:
  • Financial modeling for new business ideas
  • Competitive benchmarking
  • Variable Cost modeling
  • International cost allocation determination

Primary Working location: Beijing China.

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an MBA Program
  • 4+ years of work experience
  • Business level fluency in Mandarin and English

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of finance experience
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
  • Demonstrates strong leadership
  • Has a superior attention to detail
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to analyze financials, dive deep into data sets and provide innovating ideas to management and business partners
  • Strong ability to communicate results to Finance managers and other department leaders in a credible and influential manner
  • Can successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
  • Fluent in standard software including Excel, Access, and knowledge of SQL is preferred
