The Content Manager will form part of a wider content management team, responsible for assembling, creating and curating exclusive musical content for Amazon customers.
In addition the role will help identify and understand target customer segments by developing and monitoring proper metrics, analyzing and acting on that data to constantly enhance the digital music experience.
This position will work closely with the Site Merchandising and Marketing teams on customer-facing initiatives and activities, and with the Product team to ensure that Amazon Digital Music user experience provides a best-in-class customer value proposition.
The Content Manager will create key components of Amazon's Digital Music service offerings. This person will:
• Use data, research, and expert-level knowledge of wide-ranging musical genres to create and refine curated content
• Working with the relevant teams, establish requirements for new tools and customer-facing experiences
• Gather, analyze, report, and act on customer engagement and content usage data
• Research the needs of specific customer segments and apply findings to craft tailored content for those audiences
• Devise and pitch ideas for curatorial efforts
